Adequate sleep is essential for optimizing mood, memory, weight management, and many other critical physical and emotional functions. This session will focus on understanding the physiology of sleep and how to maximize the quality and quantity of your sleep to support many common health concerns. We will discuss simple strategies to incorporate into your day to help you attain restful sleep.

Kristina is a licensed naturopathic doctor. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Guelph and completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Kristina acknowledges that each person is unique, and provides an individualized approach to treating her patients. She has a clinical focus on addressing pain management and sports performance optimization, in addition to metabolic, sleep, and digestive concerns. She recognizes that everyone is capable of improving their health and looks to remove the obstacles to healing. Kristina provides an evidence-informed approach, and strives to integrate naturopathic therapies alongside other medical interventions that a patient may be involved with.

Kristina practices at the University of Guelph's Health and Performance Centre and the Cambridge Centre for Health and Wellness. In addition, she is a clinical supervisor at the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic at the Brampton Civic Hospital.
