On Thursday, March 31 @ 12:00pm (EDT), highly respected researcher, life-long yoga practitioner and sought-after speaker, Dr. Sat Bir Singh Khalsa will be speaking about “The Science and Biomedical Research on Yoga: Enhancing Mindfulness, Awareness and Global Consciousness”. 

You will learn about the cutting-edge research on yoga's effects on positive psychology characteristics, transcendence & spirituality, and their relevance to global consciousness. His research has also evaluated the effect of yoga and meditation on insomnia, depression, chronic stress, and other anxiety-related disorders. 

We also invite you to watch a 10-minute-long preview video "Fluid Intelligence" by him that beautifully encapsulates his research on yoga and how it can change your brain structure and function, shown through magnetic imaging technology. 

Please bring your yoga mat for a brief yoga ​practice before the talk.
