Leaders play a critical role in setting the tone for how employees experience the workplace. The way you respond when team members are stressed, struggling, or open about mental health challenges is fundamental to building trust and supporting employee success.
In this 90-minute interactive session, leaders will learn how to recognize signs of declining mental health, open supportive conversations with empathy and clarity, listen without judgment, and connect or offer employees to the right resources while maintaining healthy boundaries. This course is developed to be highly interactive to support participants to leave with practical strategies and greater confidence in navigating these sensitive conversations.
Leaders may face situations such as:
- Seeing signs of burnout — withdrawing, working long hours, or missing deadlines.
- An employee sharing they’re struggling with anxiety or depression and worrying about being judged and the impact that will have on their work.
- A usually reliable team member whose performance slips because of stress or life events outside of work.
