Date and Time
Location
Arboretum, details to be shared to registrants closer to the date by calendar invite
Details
Join us for a guided walk through the Arboretum that invites participants to explore a deeper connection to the land we gather on. This tour will reflect on the history of the Arboretum, what the campus landscape looked like before development, and the stories often left untold. The experience will encourage learning and reflection about our relationship with the land- past, present, and future. Please remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring your water bottle as needed.
Tour Guide
Spencer Martens is a Student Engagement Coordinator in The Arboretum and helps facilitate decolonial and Indigenous practice throughout its grounds. He will share some of the ongoing cultural work and help connect you wholistically to the Land, while touching on the history and current work The Arboretum is undertaking.
