Consistent with commitments in the University of Guelph Strategic Plan Priority #5: Supporting Faculty & Staff Success, the Okanagan Charter, and building on previous important work, Wellness@Work is in the process of updating its strategic plan for a 5-year period from 2024-2029. We are seeking feedback from all University of Guelph faculty and staff on how we support a healthy workplace. Throughout the process, we will seek our community's input on priorities and directions they would like to see from Wellness@Work.

The University of Guelph supports the World Health Organization’s definition of health that states that “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”  In 2017, the Wellness@Work initiative was launched at the University of Guelph with a vision for a thriving workforce, organization, and community. The Wellness@Work initiative is an opportunity to comprehensively understand the University of Guelph's existing support and assistance to employees, to strengthen our supports, and to implement new initiatives to create a truly healthy workplace across the entire university. Work at supporting the well-being of the whole person for all University of Guelph staff and faculty through a comprehensive, integrated, evidence-informed workplace health promotion strategy.

Share your feedback now!

Share your feedback and comments about a healthy workplace by completing our feedback form above. To ensure Wellness@Work executes carefulness and diligence in developing and implementing evidence-based healthy workplace plans that are representative of the experiences and needs of faculty and staff, multiple levels of consultation will be conducted. At the end of the feedback form, you will have the opportunity to complete a separate Qualtrics form where you can select to participate in a focus group or one-on-one consultation to provide additional feedback. This separate form will not be linked in any way to the anonymous strategic plan feedback provided in the upcoming questions.
