This 60‑minute session provides a clear, compassionate introduction to psychosis, helping participants build confidence in recognizing symptoms and understanding how to respond supportively. Breanna Leighton is an experienced Registered Practical Nurse and mental health educator with more than 16 years supporting individuals in both clinical and community settings. Her background includes extensive work in crisis response, mental health stabilization, and frontline assessment, as well as several years developing and delivering evidence‑informed training in mental health, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention. Breanna brings a warm, practical, and engaging teaching style that blends deep clinical expertise with real‑world experience to help learners build confidence, skill, and compassionate practice.
