Channeling the Inner Best Friend: A Creative Self-Compassion Workshop

Date and Time

Location

Alexander Hall, Room 168

Details

In the spirit of International Self-Care Day (July 24th) and World Friendship Day (July 30th), join Jazmine in a creative workshop that explores caring for one’s self, and receiving care from others. For inspiration, the workshop will begin with a brief discussion of these topics, and then artists will be invited to create an art piece that symbolizes self-compassion, care, friendship, and connection, using a variety of art materials.

Each artist will be provided with a wood canvas board, and a variety of materials (acrylic paint, collage images, markers, oil pastels, fabric, etc.) to create a mixed media piece.

Absolutely no creative or formal artistic experience is required, all are welcome.

Register today!  Capacity is limited to the first 20 people who register.
