Confidence in the Classroom

COESP invites you to attend an event for all Graduate Students in CBS!  Whether a new graduate student TAing for the first time, or an experienced TA looking for new inspiration, we look forward to welcoming you!  Join us as we examine the TA role, discuss how to be efficient and compassionate as a TA, and network with Graduate Student peers to learn their tips for TAing  We look forward to welcoming you, even if not able to attend the entire day. Do you have a new grad student in the lab? Please let them know about this opportunity!

Modifying Assessments for Increasing Class Sizes: Part 2

Looking ahead to increasing class sizes, the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL), and our COESP Director Dr. Kerry Ritchie, are offering upcoming workshops developed specifically for CBS. This two-part workshop provides resources and guidance to adapt assessments for an increase in the number of students in the course.

The 6th Annual Ontario Cell Biology Symposium brings together researchers from around the province with the aim of creating new research opportunities and fostering new collaborations. The symposium aims to provide a forum for students and postdoctoral fellows to present their research.

CBS Undergraduate Student Poster Day

The CBS Undergraduate Student Poster Day is open to any and all undergraduate students participating in summer research projects in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Integrative Biology and Human Health and Nutritional Sciences.  Lunch will be provided! Visit the CBS Grads website for a list of poster printing options (scroll to 3/4 of the way down the page). Please allow several business days for printing and processing
