Hundreds of local high school students visit campus to compete in more than 20 science, technology, engineering and math activities. Visit the BattleSTEM website for more information.

Neuroscience Day

This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Jaideep Bains, director of the Krembil Research Institute, who will speak about "Synapses, Circuits and Stress." Bains' research focuses on how the brain responds to stress, focusing on using various approaches to look at how the molecular, hormonal and behavioural changes elicited by stress will effect how the brain will respond to future stressors.  We encourage one student from every lab to register for an oral presentation, and anyone else who wishes to present to register for a poster.
