Guest Lecture: Neural Network ReNNaissance & Formal Theory of Fun
Juergen Schmidhuber from the IDSIA, Switzerland will be visiting the University of Guelph on Friday, August 9 2013 in the Thornbrough Atrium at 10am.
He is a vibrant speaker and one of the pioneers in artificial neural network research and he runs a very high-profile lab. He will discuss his group's progress on a number of challenging practical problems, but he will also talk about his mathematical theory of fun which explains art, science, music, and humour!
