FARE faculty featured on TVO: Feeding the world in 2050...

FARE Prof. John Cranfield was recently a featured guest on TVO's The Agenda. He took part in a panel discussion titled "How Are We Going to Feed Nine Billion People by 2050?"

This episode was part of a special "Pressures of Progress" series. The Agenda, hosted by Steve Paikin, is TVO's flagship current affairs program.

Other participants were Harriet Friedmann, a professor of sociology, geography and planning at the University of Toronto; Maximo Torero of the International Food Policy Research Institute in Washington, D.C.; Lisa Dreier, director of food security and development initiatives for the World Economic Forum; and Kevin Tiessen of the International Development Research Centre in Ottawa.
