Sustainable Hospitality Challenge

We are pleased to share that the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management within the LANG School of Business and Economics has joined the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge. This international event is the evolution of the former Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit based out of the Hotelschool The Hague; the Hotelschool has now partnered with the International Hotel Investment Forum to create and host an even larger opportunity for the top hospitality students from around the world. Congratulations to our student team, Tanya Broschinski, Katelyn Sheffield, and Allison Black who will be representing the School in this competition under the guidance of Professor William Murray.

The Great Ethical Dilemma

The Great Ethical Dilemma is a case competition that is completed by first-year business students at the end of the Fall semester. The Introduction to Business course, otherwise known as MGMT 1000 is taught by Professor Kathleen Rodenburg along with her many teaching assistants (TAs) that work hard to guide students through the semester. Students are given a real-life client and are given the task of analyzing the company's competitiveness, internal and external environment, and overall success.
