Bachelor of Commerce Program

Hospitality and Tourism Management major


Estimated Cutoff Ranges: 78-82% for non-co-op.

Note: Estimated cutoff ranges are based on the admission averages from previous years and are provided solely as a point of reference. Exact cutoffs for the current cycle will be determined by the quantity and quality of applications received and the number of spaces available in the program. Co-op averages will often exceed the estimated cutoff ranges.

Graduate Programs

MSc Tourism and Management


  • All applicants are required to have completed a four-year honours degree (minimum 2nd class (B+) or equivalent), from a recognized post-secondary institution.

    • International applicants should use this guide to compare their academic credentials and determine the grade equivalency needed.

  • The GMAT or GRE is a requirement for all applicants. The preferred scores are 550 (GMAT) or 55th percentile in all sections (GRE).

  • Proof of English proficiency is required for applicants whose first language is not English. Please note that test scores must be valid for the start of the program.

    • Applicants who completed a post-secondary degree from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand may request that this requirement be waived. This request will be reviewed by the graduate selection committee, who may ask for an interview and/or supplementary documentation in their consideration. 

Application deadline is February 1st.

 

PhD Management (Services Management)


Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission:

  • A recognized master’s degree in a management field with an average standing of at least “B+”
  • Acceptable GMAT or GRE Score (Minimum Scores - GMAT: 600; or GRE: 60th percentile)
  • Proof of English proficiency is required for applicants whose first language is not English. Please note that test scores must be valid for the start of the program.

    • Applicants who completed a post-secondary degree from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand may request that this requirement be waived. This request will be reviewed by the graduate selection committee, who may ask for an interview and/or supplementary documentation in their consideration.

Executive Programs 

Lang MBA Admission Requirements


Standard admission requirements for the Lang MBA program are:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university, and
  • At least a B- average in your last two years of full-time study, and
  • Three years (minimum) of work experience in a related field
     

If you do not meet the above requirements, you may still be admitted to the program if you possess the following;

  • Three-year degree/diploma from a recognized university/college, and 
  • At least a B- average in your last two years of study, and/or an acceptable professional designation, and
  • Five years (minimum) of work experience in a related field showing progressive levels of responsibility.

A GMAT is not required.
