Across Canada, restaurant sustainability initiatives are taking one step forward and two steps back as full-service restaurants struggle to weather the most daunting winter season in recent memory.

Lang students continue to find success at annual JDCC competition

Lang business students started the year off strong with another successful performance at JDC Central (JDCC), the largest undergraduate business school competition in Central Canada.

Thirty-three of Lang’s top students competed in the competition, which brings over 600 student delegates together from Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. This year’s event was held virtually and featured competitions for academic cases in 8 business disciplines, parliamentary-style debates, eSports tournaments, social competitions, and charity contributions.

Lang’s recruitment event returns with one-on-one virtual networking

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Lang’s largest winter semester recruitment event will return this week with over 26 employers registered to meet and network with Lang business students. Although the Commerce Job Expo will take place virtually this year, the online setting will still provide students with the opportunity to network with employers and make one-on-one connections.
