Visual Attention Lab

The visual attention lab is where Dr. Trick and her students conducts research on the fundamentals of attention, looking at how we count, the limits of our attentional focus and how we reason.
She examines how we count at a conscious level as well as a preattentive level, where we aren't actually aware of the process of counting.
Dr. Trick is also interested in reasoning under uncertain conditions, those in which we have insufficient information to make a truly informed choice and must make an intuitive choice. When making this intuitive leap, what processes are used to come to a decision?
