This mindfulness exercise will be a guided activity focused on guided breathing. Join to sit back, relax and follow along to the guided script to start your day in a positive way. All levels of experience are welcome!
But first… what is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. It is taking a closer look at the right here and right now. A well-known researcher in this field, Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, has stated that mindfulness is, “the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally” (2015).
This series is held Feb 6, 13 & 27, 2023 - 10 am - 10:15 am. You do not need to attend each Monday Mindful Moment, but you will be added to all the invites as it is a reoccurring meeting.
