May 1 is the beginning of AHL's new fiscal year. Submissions logged on or after May 1 will reflect to new pricing. Current clients should have received a hard copy of the 2023 AHL Fees schedule / User guide in the mail, if not please contact ahladmin@uoguelph.ca to request.  Our online fee schedule is always up to date and available. A unique username and password is required to login to the AHL website. Registered veterinarians, technicians and researchers are welcome to register here.

To all clients in Eastern Ontario,

Monday February, 20, 2023 is a STAT holiday there will be no testing done at the Animal Health Laboratory.

Specimen Reception at the Animal Health Laboratory - Guelph location will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for receiving specimens and  for out-of-hours emergency necropsies only (call first).

The Animal Health Laboratory Kemptville will be closed.

To our valued poultry clients:

You are receiving this note as you have submitted avian samples to AHL in the past. As you may be aware, notifications related to H5N1 avian influenza in Ontario have decreased markedly as the fall migration has now concluded. No newly infected commercial poultry premises have been identified since Dec. 21.

Animal Health Lab Kemptville is OPEN but running at reduced staffing today, January 13, 2023, due to inclement weather. Delays in reporting of test results from this location may be expected. Please address any inquiries to ahlkempt@uoguelph.ca or 613 258 8320. The AHL-Kemptville after hours cooler remains available for specimen drop off.
