Collection Protocol

Collect feces in a screwtop containers. Keep feces, refrigerated, do not freeze as this will significantly reduce the sensitivity of the sucrose wet mount. Alternatively, the Cryptosporidium species PCR (test code: crypto) may be run on previously frozen feces for an increased fee.
