Thinking Spaces: Improvisation Reading Group and Speaker Series

What: A space set aside to consider how ideas of creativ e improvisation can provide new ways of thinking, writing and acting acrossdisciplines and across boundaries . Readings are chosen by the grou p and can include texts or films/CDs of performance work. Copies are made av ailable to the group members in advance. Academic, artistic and com munity speakers are also invited to present in a number of the sessions. n When: READING GROUP

Thursday At Noon Concert Series: Dominic Mancuso "Live and Intimate"

  Join us for a free concert at 12 noon SHARP!  Everyone is welcome, donations appreciated. Dominic Mancuso is an acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer born and based in Toronto, Ontario. The multi-instrumentalist, with an impassioned singing style, is defining a rich hybrid sound, fueled by the multicultural flavours of his native city, his versatile guitar playing and passion for world music.  His album 'Comfortably Mine' won the 2010 Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year.
