Footnotes is the University of Guelph's undergraduate feminist journal. The journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely avilable to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute aims to bring together campus and community skills and resources to further community-identified research goals. CESI is a collaborative entity, honouring diverse forms of knowledge and leverages university resources for community benefit. This organization is within the college of Social and Applied Human Sciences, but their research expands beyond the College.
