Design Day 2019
Celebrate the year in engineering design by bringing together second-, third- and fourth-year design classes to showcase their innovative solutions and designs. Students, faculty, staff and industry are invited to observe, participate and celebrate the design process at U of G’s School of Engineering.

Campus Day 2019
Bachelor of Engineering Session
The University of Guelph welcomes approximately 3,500 prospective undergraduate students and their family members every year for Campus Day.
Guelph Engineering faculty, staff and student volunteers will be on hand to talk about all facets of university life, ranging from academic programs to campus services and organizations. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to go on a campus walking tour, talk one-on-one with faculty, staff and current students and attend information sessions for each degree program.

Engineering Alumni Association Bonspiel
Engineering alumni are invited to join in at this annual event happening at the Guelph Curling Club. Whether you're just learning to curl, are in it to win it, or are just looking to reconnect with your fellow alumni, the EAA Bonspiel has something to offer you!
Register as a full team of four, or as a single! The Curling Club kitchen and licensed bar will be open. After curling, join us at Albion Hotel for our social beginning at 8 pm. Registration is not required for this portion of the day.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
The Guelph Innovations Society in partnership with the Guelph Entrepreneurship Society, is pleased to present the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (previously known as the Gryphons NEST Competition).
The competition is set to take place on Saturday February 9th, 2019!
The first place prize is $1000!
Additionally, there are more amazing prizes to be won and food will be provided!

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Guelph is proud to host the 2019 Professional Development Conference (PDC). The School of Engineering, Faculty, Engineering Alumni Association, Co-operative Education and Career Services, Engineering Society, as well as the Alumni Affairs and Development department are committed to making this year’s PDC a success.

Engineering Career Night
Please join engineering alumni and supporters for a night of networking and mentoring engineering students as well as meeting up with fellow alumni. Help answer career-related questions and guide students on where their engineering degree can take them.
Tickets are complimentary. Dinner will take place from 6 pm to 7 pm.

National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
The U of G community is invited to attend a memorial for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, Dec. 6 to commemorate the 14 female engineering students who were killed at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal on Dec. 6, 1989.

Machine Design Trade Show 2018
Mechanical engineering students in the Machine Design course (ENGG3280) will showcase their creative designs and manufacturing skills at the Mechanical Engineering Trade Show. Over 30 groups of mechanical engineering students will present machines designed and built for food and agriculture applications. Everyone is welcome!
