M.Eng. Program Structure

Program Study Options

The CW option allows students to customize their M.Eng. experience within the prescribed requirements listed above. By providing the students 2.5 credits of electives, it is possible they will pursue other subjects or technical courses that either enhance their experience or broaden the knowledge base they will be taking back to their current employment or into their future pursuits.

The MRP option provides the student with a hands-on, industry inspired opportunity to put into practice the skills and knowledge they have acquired through the program. In addition to developing a deeper technical knowledge in their chosen field of study, graduates of the MRP option will acquire valuable project management skills such as report writing, making presentations, time management and communications.

All incoming M.Eng. students will be enrolled in the “Coursework” study option by default. If students wish to complete their degree via “Coursework and MRP,” they are encouraged to contact potential advisors within their first semester of study.

Please see the Graduate Calendar section on Engineering Requirements, MEng Program for full MEng Program Requirements.
