Specialization

I am currently studying the effect that ethanol by-products such as Dried Distillers Grains can have on feed costs for swine producers

Profile:

I was born and raised in Listowel, ON. I grew up on my family's farm where we raise pigs along with grains and oilseeds. I have remained active on the farm since coming to Guelph and plan to return home to work in the business following graduation. I enjoy being involved with producer groups such as Ontario Pork and have an active interest in politics. Currently I am the Chairperson for the Student Federation of the OAC and am a councilor on the Perth County Pork Producers Association. I have always been a vocal supporter of local agriculture and I have a great deal of passion for our industry here in Ontario

Teaching Interests:

I am currently a TA for AGR 1250, this is my second year in this position and I love getting a chance to interact with first year students in the various OAC disciplines
