The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 Award in Wines is a weekend certification held on Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m..
WSET Level 1 is an entry level qualification providing a straightforward introduction to wine. It is ideal for boosting the confidence of new or inexperienced front line staff in the hospitality and retail sectors. It's also a great course for those wanting to know the main grape varieties and food and wine matching.
Will Predhomme, a prominent Canadian professional Sommelier and enterpreneur will be teaching this certification.
Applications are due December 18th, 2015.
