Former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson to keynote gender equality event

Canada’s 26th Governor General, best-selling author and journalist, Adrienne Clarkson, will headline U of G’s HeForShe virtual celebration on March 10th an event that recognizes gender equality initiatives of students and community supporters.


Clarkson will discuss her various life experiences, education and career and how resilience is about developing the mental, spiritual and emotional muscles to deal with life’s challenges.

Lang students hosting free Tax Clinic for U of G students

Volunteers from Lang’s Accounting Students’ Association will be hosting their annual U of G Tax Clinic virtually this year, offering free tax services for University of Guelph students.

The event is a registered clinic for the 2020 Tax Year through the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, a national program enabling volunteers at community organizations to provide free tax clinics and file tax returns for eligible people.
