Earlier this week, students from the Guelph Sports Management Association (GSMA) hosted their annual networking night aimed at providing University of Guelph students the opportunity to meet and network with sport industry representatives.
Lang business students started the year off strong with another successful performance at JDC Central (JDCC), the largest undergraduate business school competition in Central Canada.
Thirty-three of Lang’s top students competed in the competition, which brings over 600 student delegates together from Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes. This year’s event was held virtually and featured competitions for academic cases in 8 business disciplines, parliamentary-style debates, eSports tournaments, social competitions, and charity contributions.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Lang’s largest winter semester recruitment event will return this week with over 26 employers registered to meet and network with Lang business students. Although the Commerce Job Expo will take place virtually this year, the online setting will still provide students with the opportunity to network with employers and make one-on-one connections.
