Philosophy of Kant (PHIL*3090)

Details

The purpose of this course is to ensure that the student has a clear understanding of the context, scope and intention of Kant's epistemology and metaphysics. For the first two weeks we shall disucss the historical background and intellectual context, over the next five weeks we shall work through the First Critique (the Critique of Pure Reason [KrV]). The remaining five weeks will be devoted to the Third Critique (the Critique of the Power of Judgement [CPJ])
