Webinar: Great Lakes First Nations Fisheries Governance Project

Date and Time

Details

On Thursday June 20th, 2019 from 10:00am-11:00am the Great Lakes First Nations Fisheries Governance project will be hosting an online Webinar to present preliminary findings and foster discussion with our First Nations partners. The research team has been conducting interviews and analyzing the data collected for the past year and have found some interesting results. The Webinar will be hosted through the Zoom platform and will be an opportunity to talk with Chiefs, Environmental Officers, Fisheries Technicians, and other key decision-makers from Great Lakes First Nations to discuss the purpose of the project, goals and objectives, and build a stronger connection between the research team and those we interviewed throughout the project. Additionally, we want to discuss avenues forward to see where best our resources as researchers can be allocated to aid our First Nations partners in achieving their goals and finding ways to achieve ours.

If you would like more information or to attend the Webinar, please reach us via email to Dr. Nicolas Brunet via or to Chirag Patney
