World Town Planning Day is an international day celebrating the accomplishments of planners and their contributions to their communities.  Join us for the Rural Planning and Development guest lecture, Dr. Gary Davidson, who will be speaking on "Reflecting on the Evolution of Rural Planning and Development".
 
Dr. Davidson is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario with over 30 years of national and international planning and development experience.  He is the former Director of Huron County Department of Planning and Development (1971-2002) and is currently the President of The Davidson Group Inc. Dr. Davidson works on issues related to, among others, community planning, public involvement, economic development, climate change planning, risk management, public administration, and strategic planning. His international experience spans Europe, China, Guyana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Ukraine.
