Chris is an alumnus of the MLA program at the University of Guelph.  He is a registered landscape architect and an Associate at Aarluk Consulting and is based in both Ottawa and Nunavut.  In 2014 Chris was invested into the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects College of Fellows.

Chris has planning, project management and research experience with government, private and community development organizations. He has been involved in the planning, development and implementation of projects in all regions and municipalities of Nunavut. Chris' experience includes coordinating and managing infrastructure development projects, community consultations, developing strategic plans, and research in a variety of areas, including culture, economic development, policy, and community plans. Among his recent project responsibilities, Chris was the coordinator for Community Economic Development Plans in twelve communities in Nunavut; project manager for Inuit Heritage Trust’s Strategic Plan for the Nunavut Heritage Sector; and project manager for the Department of Community Government Services twenty four community consultations on community infrastructure investment planning.

This lecture is supported by the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, The Ontario Agricultural College and Prof. Robert D. Brown.
