Dr. Ataharul Chowdhury Elected as the Secretary of the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE)

Dr. Chowdhury was elected as the Secretary of the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE). He was inducted as the Secretary of the new AIAEE board during a business meeting held in April 2020. The Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE), established in 1984, is an international professional organization for agricultural and extension educators who share a common goal of strengthening agricultural and extension education programs and institutions worldwide. The AIAEE works toward improving the understanding of agricultural and extension education in international settings among public and professional groups concerned with development. The Association is one of the few international organizations which focuses on maintaining liaison and working relationships with various groups and institutions and provides a medium for the exchange of ideas and information relating to programs of international agricultural and extension education.
