Chris works heavily in Nunavut where the landscapes are obviously very different physically, but also different culturally. He has adapted well to this environment, recently being accepting into the CSLA College of Fellows in recognition for his tireless work to improve northern communities. Chris is also a past CSLA Board Member, this service being recognized with the CSLA Schwabenbauer Award; the current president of the Nunavut Association of Landscape Architects, which organized the 2011 CSLA congress in Nunavut; and to those who know him, a genuine good guy. He is based in Ottawa and graduated as an MLA is 2000.
