Ecological restoration and sustainability are at the forefront of Robert’s work, which has largely been in the realm of education and research. He is an associate professor of landscape architecture and the director of the Centre for Land and Water Stewardship, both at the University of Guelph where he graduated with his BLA in 1992. Robert has used these roles to influence many, bringing a focus on ecological conservation and sustainability to the courses he teaches. With a MLA from the University of Minnesota and a PhD from the University of Michigan, Robert is also a dedicated researcher, having presented his work around the world and in several top journals.
