Join U of G on Tour for an exclusive tour of the Guelph Turf Grass Institute, G.M. Frost Centre and research grounds. Meet up is at 12:00 pm and the Outdoor Tour will be from 12:30-1:00 pm. Feel free to bring a snack or brown bag lunch as you learn about the research that applies to your backyard, local soccer field, golf course, cemetery, and park! The Guelph Turfgrass Institute has moved to a new location, so we invite you to tour the facility and take a walk outside on the research plots.
Please dress for the weather. No high heels. Closed-toed shoes required.
About the event
Join us as we celebrate Earth month by helping us clean-up the litter in the Arboretum and enjoy the beautiful weather that Spring brings! Bring a colleague or even your whole team. Individuals will be put in pairs or groups of three as we clean the Arboretum.
Gloves, pickers, and garbage bags will be provided.
Volunteers are invited to join us for lunch after from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm. Lunch will be provided, but is optional for volunteers.
