Dear Colleagues,

The University of Guelph is committed to supporting a whole-person approach to workplace wellness.

The University’s Wellness@Work Advisory Committee aims to create and implement a strategic employee wellness plan based on faculty and staff feedback and employee wellness best practices. You are the expert. Your thoughts about your work environment and wellness initiatives are essential to this process.

In cooperation with the University’s Wellness@Work Advisory Committee, U of G has contracted with experts from Vancouver Psych Health + Safety Consulting to conduct a comprehensive online wellness survey. This survey is designed to measure the 13 psycho social factors identified in the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, in addition to collecting feedback on current and future wellness initiatives.

Participation is anonymous, confidential and voluntary. Complete the survey and you could win one of 50 gift cards as a token of our thanks.

The survey has now closed. Thank you for your participation.

Survey details:

The team at Vancouver Psych Health + Safety Consulting will help us ensure the survey is accurate and useful, and will guarantee the privacy and security of the information gathered.

The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete and must be completed in one sitting. Managers and supervisors are asked to allow employees sufficient time to give the survey their full attention.

Aggregate survey results will be shared with all faculty and staff.

As thanks for your participation, after you submit the survey, you will have the option of entering a draw for one of 50 gifts cards from retailers on Information entered into the draw will NOT be linked in any way to your survey responses.

I strongly encourage you to complete the employee wellness survey. The greater the participation, the more confidence we can have in the results and the better we can continue to provide an environment and programming that is supportive to all employees. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact:
