Funding and industry experience opportunities for graduate students

Are you interested in gaining industry experience during your MSc or PhD program? Did you know that Mitacs offers graduate stipends to students working on both short and longer-term collaborative research projects with partners in in private or not-for-profit sectors? Course-based MSc students may also be eligible for support. This workshop s open to CBS and OAC graduate students.

Mastering Interviews for Science Students

In this workshop, you will learn about different interview formats/structures you might encounter when applying for a variety of jobs. You will also develop a better understanding of different types of interview questions you might be asked, and how to prepare for them and answer them most effectively. Intro to Applying to Graduate/Professional Programs (Webinar)

Are you interested in applying to graduate/professional programs, but aren't sure what to expect or what the process might look like? Then this workshop is for you! This workshop provides an introduction and overview to graduate/professional programs, and thus would be most beneficial to 1st to 3rd year level students. We will help to answer any questions you might have about graduate/professional programs, and help you to start preparing your graduate/professional school applications early on in your degree.
