The Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Guelph offers diverse opportunities for study, research, creative design, and professional practice. Landscape architects play an essential role in shaping our environment, working collaboratively with other designers, scientists, and the public and are involved in analyzing, designing, constructing, conserving, and managing landscapes from small-scale sites to entire communities.

The professionally accredited Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) attracts students from a variety of academic disciplines. Students complete a final design or thesis project option as part of the course-based MLA degree.

The application deadline for the MLA program is January 31, 2026, for Fall 2026 entry.
