PhD Qualifying Examination: Elzbieta Mastej

Elzbieta Mastej, a PhD student in Rural Studies at the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will present her qualifying examination on “Confronting Colonial Legacies of EA by Exploring the Nexus of EA and Participation.”

2024 Rural Symposium

The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policymakers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA. 

RPD Town Hall Meeting

The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a town hall meeting with all current RPD students on February 28, 2024 from 12.00-1.00 pm EST. The meeting is an opportunity to check-in, receive program updates, discuss upcoming opportunities, celebrate achievements, and ask your questions. MLA International Application Deadline for Fall 2024

The Master of Landscape Architecture program is accepting graduate applications to start the program in September 2024. The revised application deadline for international applicants is January 31, 2024, for Fall 2024 entry, (however, we suggest that you submit your complete application well in advance of the deadline) The accredited MLA professional degree program involves six semesters of full-time study over three calendar years of fulfilling graduate education in landscape architecture and attracts students from various academic disciplines. 

MLA Domestic Application Deadline for Fall 2024

The Master of Landscape Architecture program is accepting graduate applications to start the program in September 2024. The application deadline for domestic applicants is January 31, 2024.    The accredited MLA professional degree program involves six semesters of full-time study over three calendar years of fulfilling graduate education in landscape architecture and attracts students from various academic disciplines. 

MPlan Domestic Application Deadline - Summer 2024 Entry

The Master of Planning (MPlan) program is currently accepting applications to start the program in May 2024. The application deadline for domestic applicants is January 30, 2024.
