Kona Gray Gives Inspiring Guest Lecture to Guelph Students

The University of Guelph's School of Environmental Design and Rural Development hosted its third Landscape Architecture Guest Lecturer of the speaker series on November 16th.  Fellow ASLA member, Kona Gray, of EDSA Inc in Florida, offered an inspiring talk entitled, "Global Design Matters - the Future of Landscape Architecture". Kona has over 25 years of landscape architectural and urban design experience in the profession. At EDSA, Kona works on a series of resort design, healthcare, community planning and campus planning, bringing a design elegant and sensitivity to context for each project.

Kona also attended the first year Master of Landscape Architecture and the 4th year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture design studios, offering his knowledge, time and expertise to the students. Kona has expressed that he was impressed by the quality of work produced by the Landscape Architecture students within SEDRD. He also expressed his gratitude for a warm welcome from the faculty and students. Thank you to the Ontario Associate of Landscape Architects for the sponsorship of the lecture.
