The Fall Watercolour Painting Series is a three week painting series hosted from 1pm-2pm on Friday October 8th, Friday October 15th and Friday October 22nd.  The workshops will build on the skills from the previous week with basic watercolour techniques being taught in the first week to an intermediate skill level painting in the last week. It is recommended that staff attend all 3 parts to the series, especially if attending the later sessions, unless you already have experience painting with watercolours. 

The Student Wellness Education and Promotion Centre will be offering a virtual lunchtime walking group on a drop-in basis through the summer. 

This session is a great overall view of mental health, mental illness, signs, symptoms and how to access support. You will learn how to be aware of your own mental health but also those around.  Join us to feel more confident in your knowledge of Mental Health. Imposter syndrome is a false and sometimes crippling belief that one's successes are the product of luck or fraud rather than skill.  People who experience imposter syndrome may feel like a fake, feel that everything is down to luck or feel undeserving of their accomplishments. Who is this webinar for? This webinar is for individuals that want to learn to increase their ability to live in the present moment. To feel grounded during times of stress, to drop judgement and our common tendencies to relive past events and worry about the future.

Stress is a normal response to situational pressures or demands and is part of our everyday lives. How we do or do not respond to those stressors will determine whether we have a relatively healthy life, or potentially become burdened with illness and disease. During this session we will discuss the role stress and stress hormones play in our body, and the impact prolonged stress can have on our overall health and wellness.
