Date and Time

Details

The core areas of multimedia accessibility are: synchronized captions, text transcripts and/or audio descriptions. This webinar will help you understand what is required, how to meet the requirements and what resources are available to make your digital content accessible. Accessibility should be considered during the design phase when choosing to use a digital platform to present and combine text, graphics, audio, and video with links and tools that let the user navigate, interact, create, and communicate. The session will focus on: Introduction to caption and described transcript file formats, AODA requirements for audio and video content compliance, internal vs. external options (pros/cons and when to use either one.), and budgeting for projects.
