In the wake of recent calls to action for Canadian universities to decolonize, the notion of decolonizing the humanities has emerged as generative of potential for humanities disciplines to respond to the ongoing struggles against colonialism, settler colonialism, and racism.

The Decolonizing the Humanities Workshop offers faculty and instructors in the College of Arts an opportunity to learn how to practically decolonize teaching, research, and service.

The number of participants is limited to 30 faculty and instructors. The aim is to distribute participation fairly across departments within the College of Arts.
