Job Application Readiness - Virtual Resources

To support you in preparing your applications, we offer several resources.

Begin early and seek feedback, as resumes require reflection time when building.  Pro Tip - take advantage of coaching sessions from a Career Advisor!

1. GAAP Job Search Readiness Resources TEAMS Channel

This is a self-serve space to access program announcements, ask questions, and find instructions for the job application process, webinars, worksheets, and tips on developing your resume, cover letter and interviewing skills.

When you register for GAAP, access to the channel will be provided so you can learn how to prepare a strong application immediately.

2. CourseLink, Online Career Advising from the Experiential Learning Hub

The Experiential Learning Hub has created a FREE Online Career Advising available through CourseLink.

These modules provide Career Development and Job Search Readiness step-by-step modules that support your job search preparation process.

Best of all, they are self-directive and accessible whenever, wherever!

To register, go to Courslink Home click 'Self Registration tab, and select "Career Advising from the Experiential Learning Hub".

3. Experiential Learning Hub Workshop Registration

For the workshop schedule, see Key Dates and Program Timeline

These sessions are highly recommended to ensure your ability to compose quality applications and give strong interviews.

Workshop Registration: log into your dashboard on experienceguelph.ca -> Careers -> Events/Workshops, select the workshop and date, and 'Register' your spot

4. 1-to-1 Coaching for Resume Development, Applications, and Interviews
