Music Director and On-Air Talent
Bachelor of Arts, Music, 2009
Jocelyn graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor's Degree in Music in 2009. To further her education and refine her skills for radio, she completed a post-graduate certificate in Radio Broadcasting from Humber College in 2011. Working her way through the industry, Jocelyn began her career with Rogers Radio and TV and Bayshore Broadcasting. It was with Bayshore that she gained experience as a music director and Afternoon Drive Announcer from 2011-2015. In 2015 she began her current position(s) with Central Ontario Broadcasting, where she programs the music for the top two radio stations across Barrie and Simcoe County - 107.5 Kool FM and Rock 95 - as well as preparing shows as an on-air personality.
The University of Guelph resides on the land of the Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon, a covenant between Indigenous nations to live peaceably on the territories of the Great Lakes region. We recognize that today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and acknowledging them reminds us of our collective responsibility to the land where we learn, live and work.
