Love & Protest - Thinking Spaces presents: Joni NehRita

On Friday, November 20th, the Improvisation Reading Group in tandem with the speaking series "Thinking Spaces" will host a virtual event starting at 3pm (EST) featuring the singer, songwriter, and musician Joni NehRita. 

Joni NehRita writes and performs songs about unity, hope, and social justice by embracing her gift for writing infectious, well-crafted songs that are deeply personal. This year NehRita will release her 4th full-length album, “Love & Protest” which is deeply influenced by global roots music.

The University of Guelph resides on the land of the Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon, a covenant between Indigenous nations to live peaceably on the territories of the Great Lakes region.
