(HFTM) Food Day Canada Ontario Chefs Dinner

HFTM is a founding supporter of Anita Stewart's Food Day Canada, a grand celebration of Canadian food that will take place coast to coast on August 1st. This year a group of Canadian chefs, including Simon Day, Christopher Jess & Brian Schmeler will be heading to the famous James Beard House in New York City to promote Canadian food. In preparation, Simon, along with Christopher and Brian are hosting a 4-course dinner on Saturday, May 2 at PJ's Restaurant. Doors open at 6:30 p.m and the 4-course meal begins at 7:00 p.m.

HFTM - Executive-in-Residence

Every winter semester the School invites a successful and prominent industry executive to our Guelph campus to speak and meet with students. Darcy VanWyck (HAFA 2000 graduate), Director of RMCC Europe at Hilton Hotels International Division, United Kingdom is our Executive-in-Residence Wednesday, March 11th and Thursday, March 12th. Darcy will be visiting and presenting in several HTM 2nd to 4th year classes during these two days. An appreciation dinner to honour Darcy will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 6:00 p.m. in PJ's Restaurant.
