The Ministry of Colleges and Universitie (MCU) established the Ontario First Generation Student Bursary as part of their Access to Opportunities Strategy. A first generation student is an individual whose parents have not attended postsecondary studies full-time or part-time, in or outside Canada, at any time or in any program. Apply by October 7th to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form and the First Generation Bursary application form. Selection is based on financial need.
Students registered in any program who are first generation students, Ontario residents (as defined by OSAP) and who have demonstrated financial need.
