RPD W21 Virtual Town Hall Meeting

The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a virtual town hall meeting with all current RPD students on January 26 from 12.00-1.00 pm EST. The meeting is an opportunity to check-in, receive program updates, discuss upcoming opportunities, celebrate achievements, and ask your questions. 2020-21 Studio V Team Meeting

The StudioV Journal 2019-2020 has just been released, and it looks amazing. Congratulations to all the landscape architecture students whose work was showcased, and of course to the fantastic team who were able to pull it all together despite the many obstacles that 2020 brought.

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development - Landscape Architecture MLA Master's Thesis Examination Joel Sypkes, a master of landscape architecture candidate in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "Engaging Ecologies: A Design Framework for Resilient and Immersive Bioretention Plantings".

RPD Orientation for Winter 2021

Orientation for new graduate students starting in Winter 2021 semester to the MSc in Rural Planning and Development (RPD) and the MPlan is scheduled for December 15, 2020 from 1.00-2.00 pm EST. Pam Duesling, a PhD student in Rural Studies in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will be presenting her Qualifying Exam on "The Impacts of On-Farm Diversification to the Family Farm and the Intersection of Land Preservation through Public Policy in Ontario".
