Application Deadline for Rural Planning and Development Faculty Position

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) at the University of Guelph invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The earliest anticipated start date is July 1, 2025, or another mutually agreed-upon date in 2025.

OAC AA Speed Mentoring

The OAC Alumni Association is hosting a career mentorship event, “OAC AA Speed Mentoring,” on Monday, February 10th, in Peter Clark Hall.  Justin Whalen, Sr. Landscape Architect at the GSP Group Inc., will be one of the alumni in attendance to represent Landscape Architecture.   This is a good informal evening opportunity to network with OAC alumni and gain insights!

Vectorworks Workshop

Vectorworks will host a workshop on Friday, January 10th, from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM in the LA Pit. This is a great opportunity to explore the Vectorworks software program and its capabilities. Their business approach focuses on the landscape architecture (LA) industry, aiming to make design and construction workflows more efficient and convenient for both LA students and professionals.

MLA Thesis Defence: Liam Doyle

School of Environmental Design and Rural Development - Landscape Architecture MLA Master's Thesis Examination Liam Doyle, a master of landscape architecture candidate in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "Exploring the Relationship Between Plant Provenance and Insect-Flower Interactions in Southern Ontario, Canada Seed Production Areas."
