The Master of Planning (MPlan) program is currently accepting applications to start the program in January 2024. The application deadline is September 30, 2023.

SEDRD student panel discussion on the community-engaged scholarship in South-East Asia:  Reflections on the Summer 2023 Philippines Field Course at the University of the Philippines - Diliman, Manila, PH Speakers: Aimi Shimada, Kim Bell, Han Liu.  Moderators: Profs. Sheri Longboat and Nicolas Brunet All are welcome to attend, and there will be free food!  

BLA Internship Information Session Prof. Brendan Stewart and Melinda Vanryn, BLA Program Counsellor, will have an information session for 3rd year BLA's interested in the LARC*4620 - Landscape Architecture Internship credit option for the Winter semester.

Prof. Afshin Ashari has arranged an online webinar with Vectorworks for LARC*3040 and LARC*6010 classes.  All landscape architecture students are invited to attend.  The webinar will offer an introduction to the software program, which is specifically designed for the landscape architecture industry. This webinar will also be projected on the large screen in the LA Pit. Please check your UofG email for the Zoom link.  

The SEDRD Graduate Student Society (GSS) will have the first Fall 2023 meeting on Monday, September 18, 2023at 11:00 AM in the LA Building, room 143.

The Gateway Centre for Excellence in Rural Health presents an online webinar titled "Cultivating Memories: A Community Gardening Project.” The lecture features Sage Milne, Ruby Debrouwer (Harbour Hill Suites), Betty Hendricks (Goderich and District Horticultural Society), and Michele Young (Retired Registered Nurse and Master Gardener). The webinar is free to join, please register on the Gateway website.
