Sharon Wan, a candidate for the Master of Science in Rural Planning and Development, will defend her thesis on August 24, 2020 from 1.00 - 3.00 pm. Sharon’s MSc thesis is titled "Exploring Chinese Immigrants’ Active Transportation Patterns Through the Lens of Community Planning". The Rural Planning and Development program is hosting a second virtual town hall meeting with all incoming RPD students on July 8 at 12.00 pm EDT. Rachana Devkota, a Doctoral Student in Rural Studies in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend her PhD thesis on "Responsible Innovation for Mechanization in Hill side farming in Nepal:  A Gender Perspective".

Rachel Dehaan, a masters student in Capacity and Development in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend her thesis on "Using Photovoice to Understand Homegardens:  A Study in Kandy District, Sri Lanka"
