Elijah Dalton, a master student in Capacity Development and Extension in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, will defend his thesis on "The Influence of Cash Transfers and Remittances on Children's Human Capital Accumulation".

The final SEDRD Speaker event features Amy Barnes sharing a presentation titled "Heritage & Conservation Planning – Determining the Value of the Past with Present Day Planning Tools”. All are welcome to attend. 

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development at the University of Guelph and the OPPI invite you to the 5th Annual Rural Romp! As a nod to the City of Guelph and Wellington County being awarded the Smart Cities Challenge Prize, the theme of this year's Rural Romp is Smart Cities: The Circular Food Economy. This social event is open to everyone!
